We do ask for proof of purchase for Warranty claims as our Rab Promise covers the original owner only. However, even without proof of purchase we can still look to repair your item for you and would encourage you to have it repaired if economically viable to do so. Please take a look at the subsidized services that we offer via our Service Centre section on our website. Pre-authorizing an amount will streamline the process and ensure your repair is completed as quickly as possible. Repairing a small tear may cost $10-$20 while the cost for a full main zipper replacement is $65 - $95.
The Rab Service Centre holds a vast array of current and historical spare parts. We always try to provide an exact match if possible. However, it would be unrealistic to expect us to stock everything that we have ever made infinitum. Where we do not have the exact spare available, we will always endeavour to supply a suitable alternative.
At the Rab Service Centre, we always strive to repair your item to the highest standard. In the rare instance where we are unable to match fabric colours, zippers, or accessories, we will contact you with our alternative suggestions to confirm that you are happy to proceed with the repair. Your initial quote is based upon the information that you give us. Please provide as much information as possible and be clear about any damage that requires attention., We reserve the right to revise your initial quote, if additional work is required to that previously specified. The Rab Promise is designed to bring you the longest and most rewarding experience possible from your jacket, sleeping bag or pack. If your item fails due to a manufacturing defect during its usable lifetime, we will step in and do what we can to make it right. This promise does not extend to repairs needed due to, improper care, accidental damage, negligence, or normal wear and tear.
